The AUT have voted in favour of industrial action against the Government's plans for HE. Students and lecturers will now be standing shoulder to shoulder during NUS' week of action from 23-27 February.

NUS is continuing the fight against the Government's inadequate plans for HE.

A National Day of Action (25 Feb) as well as Week of Local Action (23-27 Feb).

Reclaim the Night!

NUS Women's Campaign encourage you to hold a Reclaim the Night march on Thursday 26 February 2004.

Students across the country will be united in highlighting violence against women and safety in their local area.

Raise money for Refuge

Over three quarters of a million mobile phones have been thrown away since Christmas - that equates to more than two million pounds in a new Refuge/Body
Shop scheme.

If you hand in your old handset
at your nearest Body Shop store, you will raise £2.75 for Refuge,
the charity dedicated to helping women and children affected by domestic violence.
