What is National Science Week National Science
Week aims to celebrate science and its importance to our lives, giving
people from everywhere in the UK the chance to participate in science
activities and experiments and to engage in science discussions in their
local area. In 2003 hundreds of thousands of people across the UK took
part in National Science Week activities, for further details click
here. The BA coordinates National Science Week, providing a
national context for each event. We encourage individuals and
organisations to take part, help to source funding for National Science
Week events, and offer resources
(like our 2003 BA challenge pack Sounds Like Science) and advice for
organising and publicising events.
