{"id":193,"date":"2007-10-22T00:30:46","date_gmt":"2007-10-22T00:30:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dalelane.co.uk\/blog\/?p=193"},"modified":"2007-10-22T00:34:34","modified_gmt":"2007-10-22T00:34:34","slug":"an-introduction-to-windows-powershell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dalelane.co.uk\/blog\/?p=193","title":{"rendered":"An introduction to Windows PowerShell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Later today, I&#8217;m giving a presentation on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windowsserver2003\/technologies\/management\/powershell\/default.mspx\">Windows PowerShell<\/a> as a part of the lead-up to this year&#8217;s internal IBM <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Open_Hack_Day\">HackDay<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;ll be good to address some of the misunderstandings I had about PowerShell when I <a href=\"http:\/\/hursleyonwmq.wordpress.com\/2007\/04\/18\/websphere-mq-scripting-using-powershell-part-3\/\">wrote<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/hursleyonwmq.wordpress.com\/2007\/04\/17\/websphere-mq-scripting-using-powershell-part-2\/\">about<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/hursleyonwmq.wordpress.com\/2007\/02\/12\/websphere-mq-scripting-using-powershell\/\">it<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/dalelane.co.uk\/blog\/?s=powershell\">before<\/a>. I&#8217;ve added the notes as comments to each slide, which will show up if you click-through to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/dalelane\/an-introduction-to-windows-powershell\/\">presentation on slideshare<\/a>. They still might not make much sense with the notes, but that&#8217;s a different problem \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Although, some of the text in this presentation is a little small for reading in a 400 pixel flash viewer.
