A few years ago, I wrote a post about how you can make a font based on a sample of your own handwriting<\/a>. <\/p>\n

I did it to help Grace, at the time aged three, to make a font of her writing as part of a present for Amy<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Graham<\/a> suggested doing this every year<\/a>, and as it turns out, that is what I ended up doing. <\/p>\n

It’ll be a nice thing to have when she’s older – a record of what her writing used to be like. And it’s fascinating to see how her handwriting develops year-on-year. <\/p>\n

We’ve got a few of them now, so time to share how it looks so far. <\/p>\n

We’ve been doing it once a year since then…<\/p>\n

I’m really pleased we’ve collected them, and hope Grace will be willing to keep it up for a few more years yet.<\/p>\n

Her little sister Faith is three now, and has started her set, too.<\/p>\n

The little monster is left-handed, so it’ll be interesting to see what impact that has on how her handwriting develops.<\/p>\n
