It&#8217;s not quite finished yet (<em>Excuse: Thanks to the holidays, it&#8217;s still over a week till my next Code Club class!<\/em>), but it&#8217;s close enough that I thought it&#8217;s worth sharing the work-in-progress. <\/p>\n<p>The basic idea (more than a little inspired by <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/VpORvYF3k8s\">an old Mega Drive game we&#8217;ve played<\/a>) is that you have to catch falling bits of rubbish and put them in the correct recycling bin. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowtransparency=\"true\" width=\"485\" height=\"402\" src=\"\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/embed\/57775306\/?autostart=false\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A playable version is embedded here if you&#8217;re using a Flash-friendly browser. (If the embed isn&#8217;t working, you can also get to it on the <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/57775306\/\">Scratch website<\/a>.) <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve started writing up how we made it, using Code Club&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/CodeClub\/lesson_format\">lesson format<\/a> tool.  (A tool that reads Markdown with <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/CodeClub\/curriculum_documentation\/blob\/master\/projects.md\">a few Code Club-specific extras<\/a>). <\/p>\n<p>The write-up is still a little rough around the edges, but the source for what we&#8217;ve got so far is on <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dalelane\/codeclubprojects\/blob\/master\/recycling\/Recycling.md\">github<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;ve used lesson_format to create <a href=\"http:\/\/dalelane.co.uk\/drpbx\/codeclubprojects\/en-GB\/07_scratch_bonus\/17\/Recycling.html\">HTML<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/dalelane.co.uk\/drpbx\/codeclubprojects\/en-GB\/07_scratch_bonus\/17\/Recycling.pdf\">PDF<\/a> versions in the Code Club style. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grace and Faith have been helping me work on a new project for Code Club.
