On the outside of the window is a wide ledge. And a few weeks ago, a couple of pigeons started assembling a nest of twigs on the ledge by my desk.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><iframe src=\"https:\/\/mastodon.org.uk\/@dalelane\/110900201395957509\/embed\" class=\"mastodon-embed\" style=\"max-width: 100%; min-height: 450px; border: 0\" width=\"450\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A couple of days later, she laid an egg!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: thin black solid;\" width=\"450\" height=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CZS5qRFFLKY\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<small><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/CZS5qRFFLKY\">youtu.be\/CZS5qRFFLKY<\/a><\/small><\/p>\n<p>A week later, there was a second egg.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: thin black solid;\" width=\"450\" height=\"280\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jO9gpSgJiRY\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<small><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/jO9gpSgJiRY\">youtu.be\/jO9gpSgJiRY<\/a><\/small><\/p>\n<p>Sadly I didn&#8217;t see the eggs hatch, but this week two baby pigeons joined the nest.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: thin black solid;\" width=\"450\" height=\"280\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/e--eoCYF_tM\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<small><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/e--eoCYF_tM\">youtu.be\/e&#8211;eoCYF_tM<\/a><\/small><\/p>\n<p>They are very cute.
