NOTE: I initially created this site while still at University, and stopped updating it several years ago. I'm leaving it here as most of the stuff here is probably still true, but please note that most is almost certainly out of date.

My interest and enthusiasm in student training while as a Senior NSLP Trainer helped when I was responsible for the running of the student training scheme at the University of Bath: SORTED.
What is SORTED?
SORTED is the Students' Union training scheme, offering a wide variety of free training. Part of the National Student Learning Programme, the scheme is based on the concept of cascade learning, where a group of students are highly trained to be able to deliver training to their peers.
What did I do?
I was responsible for the coordination and development of the training programme, and for supporting the team of student trainers.

In addition to these responsibilities, I also helped to run and develop the scheme in a number of more practical ways, including: creating a catalogue of courses; creating a website detailing available sessions; preparing for the training of the new student trainers; developing new training courses; creating a student-led committee to help coordinate the programme; developing an evaluation system for courses in line with performance indicator targets; organise and host a prestigious end-of-year presentation and awards ceremony and many more...
