NOTE: I initially created this site while still at University, and stopped updating it several years ago. I'm leaving it here as most of the stuff here is probably still true, but please note that most is almost certainly out of date.

I've started making an up-to-date CV at cv.dalelane.co.uk

Community :: Youth Work > Crime Concern
I helped with Crime Concern's youth work programme in Bath, supporting and working with young offenders and young adults considered at risk of offending.

This included helping with weekly activity groups such as climbing and watersports. Other activity groups included the Cooking Group, which offered them the chance to improve basic literacy and numeracy without appearing overtly educational. Over a number of evenings, we would go from planning a menu, shopping and budgeting, to the actual cooking.

It also included going on residential activity weekends, at locations such as the Brecon Beacons - with activities such as raft-building, orienteering, mountain-biking and team-building games.
