NOTE: I initially created this site while still at University, and stopped updating it several years ago. I'm leaving it here as most of the stuff here is probably still true, but please note that most is almost certainly out of date.

I've started making an up-to-date CV at cv.dalelane.co.uk

I helped at a Science Fair run as part of the British Association's National Science Week.
Bath Taps Into Science
The aim was to inspire and educate young people in Science & Technology with interactive displays such as Liquid Nitrogen shows.
The work involved demonstrating exhibits to people and explaining the science at work.
The event was very successful, winning awards such as the Public Awareness of Physics award from the Institute of Physics, and helping lead to the coordinator, Chris Budd, receiving a National Teaching Fellowship.
National Science Week
The event was run as part of National Science Week.
National Science Week is an annual celebration of science and its importance to our lives. Every March, the UK hosts a huge variety of science, engineering and technology events giving people across the UK the chance to participate in science activities, experiments and discussions. Each event raises awareness, appreciation and understanding of science, engineering and technology.
The aim is to involve people across the country in thinking about science and give them the chance to participate in science activities and experiments and engage in science discussions in their local area.
