BathStudent.com (pilot)

I designed and created a new website for the University Of Bath Students' Union.
The site provided advice and information to University students in Bath on a variety of topics, including money, housing, health and leisure.
The site was not technically complicated, with the biggest challenges being compiling the information and presenting it in a friendly and approachable manner, and managing the size of the site (over 900 files).
It included features such as online sandwich ordering (JavaScript), and an online Uni merchandise catalogue.
It was primarily an experiment into putting Students' Union services online for the first time, to gauge viability. It's success led to the purchase of a new site.

I was an administrator for the new Students' Union website, BathStudent.com. As an administrator, I was one of the ones who have been responsible for the implementation of the new software.
Bought from an outside company, we were one of the first Students' Unions in the country to try most of the features offered by this software - and faced a number of technical and legal difficulties in the implementation.
I was also responsible for migrating the content from the pilot site (shown above), to the new system.
