University of Bath Students' Union: Research Online

As a Sabbatical officer, one of my areas of responsibility in the Students'
Union was for Research - ensuring that the elected officers are able to make
informed decisions on behalf of the students that they represent.
In my time as a student officer, I wanted to use my web development knowledge to help support the Research function with a variety of online polls, surveys and questionnaires. They used PHP in a variety of ways as was most appropriate to the survey - some emailed responses to the interested party (either individually or in batches), while others wrote responses to a CSV (comma separated values) file for analysis with MS Excel and SPSS. |
