NOTE: I initially created this site while still at University, and stopped updating it several years ago. I'm leaving it here as most of the stuff here is probably still true, but please note that most is almost certainly out of date.

I've started making an up-to-date CV at cv.dalelane.co.uk

 Technical :: Software > TaskToday
A desktop widget which displays dashboard-style at-a-glance view of how busy you are (based on your Microsoft Outlook task list).
TaskToday
task today screenshot 'busy' shows how much work you've done today.

'stress' shows how much work you've got left to do.
It calibrates itself to adjust to your task list, and runs out in the background to let you tell how busy you are at a glance.

Prerequisites
I have MS Outlook 2002 running on Windows XP, so that is what TaskToday was written for. I have no reason to believe that it wont work with other versions, but have never tried it so don't really know.
And you'll probably need .NET Framework installed to get it to run.
Feedback
Please send any suggestions, complaints, or bug reports to tasktoday@dalelane.co.uk
Disclaimers
As this only reads, as opposed to writes to, your Outlook file, it is unlikely to do anything too nasty to your data file. But, the usual warnings apply - backup any data that you can't afford to lose as I can't offer anything other than my apologies if it ends up eating your Outlook data file!
