NOTE: I initially created this site while still at University, and stopped updating it several years ago. I'm leaving it here as most of the stuff here is probably still true, but please note that most is almost certainly out of date.

I've started making an up-to-date CV at cv.dalelane.co.uk

Community :: University activities > Meetings & Committees
I was an active part of a number of committees and groups during my time at University. This page lists some of them.
Meetings and Committees

Students' Union Executive Committee
4th year
I was an elected member of the Students' Union Executive Committee - an elected group of full-time and part-time student officers, responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the Students' Union as a whole.
Student Council Representative
2nd year
I was an elected student Council rep and spoke out on a number of issues, with some of my suggestions being passed.
University Disciplinary Committee
2nd year
I was an elected student representative on the University Disciplinary Committee, although fortunately the committee was not needed during this year.
4th year
I attended meetings of the University Senate - the highest academic decision-making body at the University, to gain a better understanding of the way the Uni is run, and to help ensure that student needs and opinions are represented.
4th year
I was an elected member of the CSSU Committee - a forum where members from University Council (the University's highest decision-making body), Senate (the highest academic decision-making body) and students can meet to discuss issues affecting students.
Staff Development - Transferable Skills
2nd year
I attended a staff development workshop on Transferable Skills, to represent Students Union. Discussed ways to inform students of efforts made to integrate key skills into courses (particularly as a result of the QA assessments) with Director Of Studies, resulting in proposed changes to Unit Catalogue.
