Simple command-line tool for sending SMS text messages with a Windows Mobile
phone from a connected desktop computer.
SMS Sender
This is a simple little app that lets you write SMS text messages from
your desktop computer, to be sent from a connected Windows Mobile phone.
The idea was simply that I send a lot of text messages, and I can type a
lot faster on the full-size keyboard attached to my computer. This way I
can type them at my computer, and they get passed to my phone and sent
from there.
To make things easier, you can type a mobile number to send the text
message to, or any name in the phone's address book. If the name is
ambiguous, a list of options is presented and can be chosen between from
the command line.
Requirements
The extension was written for Windows Mobile 5/6 devices, and requires
the Developer Power Toy RAPI Start
to be installed on your computer.
