NOTE: I initially created this site while still at University, and stopped updating it several years ago. I'm leaving it here as most of the stuff here is probably still true, but please note that most is almost certainly out of date.

I've started making an up-to-date CV at cv.dalelane.co.uk

I got involved in a number of the Students' Union's representation activities while at University...
Democracy and Representation

5th year
Before leaving University, I spent a year as a Sabbatical officer for the Students' Union. An elected, full-time post, it combined a variety of roles, serving the student population of Bath.
4th year
I was the Union Chair of the University Students' Union. An elected post, it involved chairing the various Union meetings, from the General Meetings and meetings of the Student Council, to the weekly Executive meetings of the Sabbatical Officers for the day to day running of the Students' Union.
Academic Course Rep
4th year
I was an elected Academic Course Rep for my department. A member of the Staff-Student Liaison Committee, I was responsible for representing the views of the Computing students to the University and working with the University in course development.
Courses Committee
4th year
I was an elected member of the Courses Committee for my Department, where changes to the degrees offered by the Department are discussed and decided upon.
Students' Union Elections Committee
4th year
I was an elected member of the Students' Union Elections Committee - which oversees the running of the various Students' Union elections. My biggest aim for the year was to ensure that placement students were able to vote, which was largely overlooked in previous years.
