Some of the things I got involved with included...
Le Paris Hitch
A sponsored hitch-hike to Paris - getting from the Bath University campus to under the Eiffel Tower as quicly as possible without spending a penny! (Mar 2002)
Gunk-A-Sabb
Give seven Students' Union sabbatical officers a bucket each, and tell them to collect as much money as possible.
At the end of two weeks of begging, pleading and all-night craziness, publicly cover them all in a variety of nasty gunk, like custard, baked beans, 2-week-old bar slops, and worse - with the smelliest stuff going to the ones who collected the least! (Feb 2003)
Sponsored Sleep Out
Sleeping "rough" to raise money and awareness for Julian House - the local night shelter for the homeless. (Nov 2002)
Street Collections
Spending Saturdays in various nearby towns to collect money for charities such as Childline and Shelter. (Various in 2002-03)
Rag Slave Auction
Being auctioned off as a slave to raise money for charity... (Feb 2003)
Annual Fireworks Display
Helping out at Bath's largest free fireworks display by looking after any lost children and helping to coordinate the student marshals. (Nov 2002)
Rag Christmas Panto
A blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance in the only Christmas Panto where the cast have more fun (and alcohol!) than the audience... hysterical! (Dec 2002)
Valentines Strikes
Helping people surprise their loved one by turning up in their lecture with a rose and romantic verse! (Feb 2003)
