Talking about machine learning for kids

I was lucky enough to be invited onto a couple of podcasts this month to talk about Machine Learning for Kids.

Hello World

The first was the Raspberry Pi podcast Hello World, “for educators interested in computing and digital making in the classroom”.

Aimed more at teachers, we talked about the reasons for introducing AI in the classroom, and some of my experiences in teaching kids about machine learning.

The second was the IBM Developer Podcast, where you can “hear all about open topics and technologies”.

While I’m sharing podcast links, I didn’t think to post about them at the time but I joined a couple of podcasts last year, too.

Teaching Python

The Teaching Python podcast is hosted by a couple of teachers sharing “their adventures teaching middle school computer science, problem-solving, handling failure, frustration, and victory through the lens of the Python programming language”.

KidsLab

The KidsLab podcast is “for parents, educators and everybody passionate about #STEAM education”.
